Wednesday, April 4, 2012
Esther Short -- Thanks to employees at Providence Health & Services, low-income children served by Children’s Center will receive spring baskets bulging with eggs, candy, toys and stuffed animals. Employees at Providence Medical Group offices in Vancouver, Battle Ground and Camas and Providence Home Medical Equipment in Vancouver donated the goodies, and baskets were assembled by Children’s Center volunteers. Children’s Center is a nonprofit community mental health agency that provides quality mental health services to 400 Clark County children each week. More than 90 percent live at or below the poverty level.
