FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — A man who called 911 shortly after Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino was in a motorcycle accident says the coach and his female passenger declined to call the authorities.

In an audio file released Friday by Arkansas State Police, the caller said Petrino was bleeding in the face, but walking around. The caller said the passenger, who was later identified as Jessica Dorrell, didn’t look like she was hurt.

Petrino has been put on leave after failing to disclose that Dorrell, a 25-year-old athletic department employee, was with him when he crashed Sunday. He also said the two had an inappropriate relationship.

The 911 caller, who identified himself as Larry Hendren, told a dispatcher: “The rider and the passenger of the motorcycle declined us to call 911. They got into a vehicle and headed toward the hospital.”
