SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Emergency crews have rescued a man from the Spokane River in Spokane.
He was described as “delirious and frantic” when firefighters found him Friday morning in waist deep water clinging to a branch.
The Spokesman-Review reports (http://is.gd/4yKHad ) the river is running high and fast from recent rains and the spring runoff.
The man said there was another person in the water, but no one else was found.
