Men in Portland-area home invasion showed badges

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. (AP) -- Police in the Portland suburb of Lake Oswego say two men displayed what looked like police badges to gain entry to a house and rob the residents.

Capt. Dale Jorgensen says one man pulled out a handgun and fired a shot into a wall Friday. They then tied up two men and a woman and fled with bags of items taken from the home.

Jorgensen says one male victim was struck in the face.

An updated description released by police late Friday described one man as being in his early to mid 30s and the other as in his late 50s or early 60s.
