A man was sent to a local hospital Tuesday morning after being in a T-bone crash near the intersection of Main Street and Northeast Hazel Dell Avenue, officials said.

The crash was reported just after 10 a.m., according to emergency dispatch logs.

Vancouver Fire Department’s Engine 2 responded and found one adult male pinned inside one of the vehicles, said Capt. Scott Willis, fire department spokesman.

Firefighters extricated the man, who had head, chest and pelvis injuries, Willis said. The man was taken by AMR ambulance to a local hospital.

The injuries weren’t believed to be life-threatening, Willis said.

The driver of the other car refused to be transported.

There was only one person in each car.
