Letter: It’s time to dismiss Holder

The Columbian
Published: April 11, 2012, 5:00pm

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is a disgrace. The Justice Department is mockingly referred to, and rightfully so, as “The Injustice Department.” He dismissed the radical Black Panther voter intimidation case in Philadelphia. His agency is responsible for “gun walking” with Mexican drug cartels, and he is accused of obstructing the “Fast and Furious” investigation. Willfully, he attempts to block states from securing their borders and protecting the rights of legal voters.

Not only are his actions deplorable but his inactions are unconscionable. With the death of Trayvon Martin, the Black Panthers offered a $10,000 bounty on an alleged suspect. Holder has no comment. The calls for vigilantism, street justice or retribution are reminiscent of “The Ox Bow Incident.” Criminal acts with a mob mentality are threatening our society with anarchy and lawlessness.

Where is our rule of law? Where is Attorney General Holder?

Better yet, where is President Obama? Why has he not fired the incompetent Holder?
