COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — Top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki reached the third round of the e-Boks Open on Thursday, routing Pauline Parmentier of France 6-2, 6-1.
Wozniacki, the two-time defending champion from Denmark, won in 67 minutes and will next face France’s Alize Cornet.
Second-seeded Angelique Kerber overcame a sluggish start to beat Britain’s Anne Keothavong 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. Kerber moves on to the third round against Mona Barthel in an all-German match,
