Democratic precinct caucuses today

With Obama certain as nominee, issues to take focus

Democrats in Clark County will have their chance to discuss party issues and elect delegates to their county convention during the Democratic precinct caucuses, from 1 to 3 p.m. today at 10 locations.

Only registered voters may participate, and voters must be willing to declare that they are Democrats during the registration process.

Democrats wishing to participate in the caucuses can find out which precinct they live in by checking their voter registration card, calling the Clark County Elections Office at 360-397-2345, or going online to http://myvote.wa.gov. On the MyVote site, enter the appropriate information and then click the “my districts & elected officials” link.The Democratic caucus locations based on precinct were printed in Tuesday’s edition of The Columbian and are available at columbian.com.
