WASHINGTON (AP) — The identities of two Secret Service supervisors who have been pushed out of the agency in the wake of a prostitution scandal have been revealed.
Lawrence Berger, the general counsel for the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, said Thursday he is representing Greg Stokes and David Chaney.
Chaney and Stokes were part of the agency’s uniformed division. A third employee, who was not a supervisor, has resigned. Berger said he could not comment on the investigation.
Eleven Secret Service employees are accused of misconduct in connection with the prostitution scandal at a Cartagena, Colombia, hotel last week. The tawdry affair erupted after an argument over payment between a Colombian prostitute and one of the employees spilled into a hotel hallway.
Ten military members are also being investigated.
