Battle Ground — New officers for the Battle Ground Elks Lodge were installed March 30. Assisting in the ceremony were Elks from the Vancouver and Kelso/Longview lodges. The officers installed were: Sandye Talbert, exalted ruler; Laura Leone, leading knight; Linda Peterson, loyal knight; Jane Williams, lecturing knight; Joan Mayberg, lodge secretary; Nick Wilson, treasurer; Lloyd Goodrich, esquire; Camille Martindale, chaplain; and Kay Beasley, tiler. Trustees are Ken Kanooth, William Spears, Denny Martindale and Shirley Rooney. The Battle Ground Elks meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays at 908 Grace Ave.
