Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer speaks to Va. techies

McLEAN, Va. (AP) -- Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer will discuss trends in technology with northern Virginia's technology community.
Ballmer is speaking Thursday morning at an event sponsored by the Northern Virginia Technology Council at The Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner.
The billionaire joined Microsoft in 1980 and has been CEO for the last 12 years.
