NEW YORK (AP) — Hyper, the 4-5 favorite, extended his winning streak to four on Thursday, beating Liston by 1 1/4 lengths in the $67,000 allowance feature on the turf at Aqueduct.
Jose Lezcano was aboard for trainer Chad Brown as the 5-year-old ran the 1 1-16 miles in 1:43.67 over the firm course.
Hyper paid $3.60, $2.50 and $2.10. Liston, coupled in the betting with fifth-place finisher Hockley, returned $2.50 and $2.10. Flamin’ Hot paid $3.30 to show.
