Letter: Let the people vote on light rail

The Columbian
Published: April 18, 2012, 5:00pm

Since when is it a waste of time and money to let us vote “yay” or “nay” on light rail? I am tired of having city of Vancouver officials push their agenda down my throat.

We can have a wonderful updated bridge for vehicles and buses only. Let people who want light rail get a ride from Delta Park. Look at the cost overruns and crime on Oregon’s light rail.

Let us vote.
