SISTERS, Ore. (AP) — Authorities say three people have been killed in the crash of a single-engine airplane in the Cascade Range south of Sisters.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the circumstances of the Monday morning crash were not immediately known, except that there were three people on board the Lancair Propjet.

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s office says rescue personnel reached the crash site and found no survivors.

The sheriff’s office did not immediately identify the dead. Federal aviation records show the plane was registered to a man in Terrebonne, a Deschutes County community.
