1-year term for assistance in WA trooper killing

PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP) -- One of the people charged with rendering criminal assistance in the shooting death of a Washington state trooper has been sentenced in Kitsap County.
The Kitsap Sun reports Steven Michael Banks was sentenced Wednesday to a year in jail.
He's one of sixth people charged with helping Joshua Blake in February after he shot Trooper Tony Radulescu (rad-ihl-EHS'-kyoo during a traffic stop near Gorst.
Blake later fatally shot himself.
