OHSU hosts macular degeneration seminar

The Casey Eye Institute at Oregon Health & Science University is hosting a free seminar on macular degeneration.

The seminar is from 9:30 a.m. to noon May 12 at OHSU Casey Eye Institute, 3375 S.W. Terwilliger Blvd.

The seminar, “Macular Degeneration: The Clear Picture on Research, Treatment and Options for Reading,” will include presentations on the latest research and treatment advancements and technologies to allow patients to continue reading even as the disease progresses.

The event will also include exhibits demonstrating a variety of visual aids.
