POLSON, Mont. (AP) -- A U.S. Army veteran with mental health issues, who was reunited with his sister last fall after 14 years, has gone missing again.
Mona Storrud of Deer Park, Wash., tells the Missoulian that when she returned from volunteering at her granddaughter's school for two hours on Monday, Orin Storrud was gone.
She says he went missing for two days just before Christmas, before being located at a homeless shelter in Spokane, Wash. She hadn't seen him for 14 years before he turned up at a Polson hospital last October. Workers there found his sister.
Orin Storrud, who is 55, suffers from schizophrenia. His sister says his medication wasn't helping much.
The siblings were born in Butte and Mona Storrud says her brother seems to gravitate to western Montana.
