Letter: Many alternatives to driving cars
Friday, April 27, 2012
People always seem to complain about high gas prices. However, there are a few ways to not spend as much. One good way is to drive only when you need to.
If you have one, ride a bike. Not only does it save money, it is exercise. This is also good for the environment. Walking is an option, as well. If I am going somewhere with someone, I will carpool. As a student, my friends and I ride our bikes to meet with each other, instead of having our parents drive us.
People don’t have to dump their money into the trash by paying high gas prices. Walk or bike to work. On a trip, carpool with buddies. Follow these steps to save your money.
