WASHINGTON (AP) — The Washington Wizards finished more than 25 games below .500 for the fourth straight season.

But they went 7-4 with Nene in the lineup.

The hope is that the combination of John Wall at point guard and Nene at center can finally help build the Wizards into winners.

First, team president needs to decide if Randy Wittman will remain the coach. Wittman took over when Flip Saunders was fired in January.

Nene was acquired at the trade deadline, and the Wizards won their last six games to finish 20-46 in the lockout-shortened season.
