HERMISTON, Ore. (AP) -- Law enforcement officers in northeast Oregon's Umatilla County are asking for help from the public as they search for a Hermiston woman missing under what they call suspicious circumstances.
Sheriff's officers say 26-year-old Melody Kaye Mickel left a Rite Aid store where she worked in Hermiston at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday and was later reported missing by a co-worker.
The investigation led officers to a home where a former boyfriend of Mickel lived. Undersheriff Terry Rowan said in a statement Friday that unspecified "additional suspicious circumstances" were found at the home.
In a statement, Rowan says officers are looking for Mickel, Alberto Martinez and a black 2006 Subaru Legacy.
