EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — With Jake Ballard and Travis Beckum coming off major knee injuries in the Super Bowl, the New York Giants have selected Adrien Brown with their first pick in the fourth round of the NFL Draft Saturday.

Ballard is not expected to be ready to play until midseason at the earliest. Beckum is ahead of schedule but it is uncertain if he will be ready for the start of the season.

Robinson was not a major part of Cincinnati’s offense. He caught 29 passes for five touchdowns in his four seasons with the Big East Conference school.

The Giants signed former Dallas Cowboy Martellus Bennett as a free agent in the offseason. Bear Pascoe is the only healthy tight end returning from last year’s Super Bowl champions.
