Anglers can start fishing for money beginning Tuesday when the Columbia River northern pikeminnow sport reward program begins its five-month season.
Fishermen are paid $4 per pikeminnow nine inches or larger for the first 100 fish. The reward jumps to $5 for pikeminnows Nos. 101 through 400 and $8 per fish after 400.
