HOUSTON (AP) — The Houston Texans have selected Purdue offensive lineman Nick Mondek in the sixth round of the NFL draft, adding another player in their area of need.

The 6-foot-5, 307-pound Mondek is the third offensive linemen drafted by Houston, joining Brandon Brooks from Miami (Ohio) and Georgia center Ben Jones.

Earlier Saturday, the Texans selected Jones, Michigan State receiver Keshawn Martin and Nebraska defensive tackle Jared Crick in the fourth round and Texas A&M kicker Randy Bullock in the fifth round.

The Texans came into the draft looking to build depth in the receiving corps and along the offensive line. Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips also pushed for another pass rusher, and Crick joins Houston took Illinois’ defensive end Whitney Mercilus in that role.
