2 Spokane men killed in fight at campground

NEWPORT, Wash. (AP) -- Two Spokane men were killed in a fight at a campground in northeast Washington.

The Pend Oreille (pahn-duh-RAY') County sheriff's office says deputies responded early Sunday

to the Yocum Lake Campground area, 10 miles south of Ione.

They

found about 10 people, ages 18 to 24, who had been drinking when a fight broke out between two men.

Both men were dead at the scene. Twenty-two-year-old Steven Q. Divine had been stabbed, and 18-year-old Richard R. Hill had been shot.
