TACOMA, Wash. (AP) -- A 41-year-old repeat bank robber was sentenced in federal court in Tacoma Monday to 18 years in prison.
The U.S. attorney's office says Robert Revels of Federal Way was involved in the robbery of a bank branch in Tacoma in March 2010, just four months after his release for two bank robberies in 1997.
He was caught because of a tracking device hidden in the money and convicted of aiding and abetting the robbery.
