LONDON (AP) — Organizers of the 2016 Rio Olympics say they will stake steps to avoid the problem of empty seats affecting the London Games.

Rio de Janeiro organizing CEO Leonardo Gryner says “we have some ideas to keep the stadiums full at all times.”

He says “we hope to do better than London, but it is not an easy challenge.”

London organizers have faced criticism for swaths of empty seats at some venues. The gaps have been blamed mostly on officials from sports governing bodies and national Olympic committees not using their allocations of prime seats.
