LONDON (AP) — Weightlifter Tatiana Kashirina of Russia broke the world record twice in the snatch portion of the women’s super heavyweight competition.

Kashirina lifted 149 kilograms in her second attempt, beating her own mark from last year by one kilogram. She then hoisted 151 kilograms — about 333 pounds — in the third attempt, shouting loudly as she pushed up from a squat.

Kashirina leads the competition going into the clean and jerk. World champion Zhou Lulu of China is second with 146 kilograms.
