Camas man accused in attack on two people at rave in woods

A Camas man who is accused of hitting two people on the head with a vodka bottle was arrested by Cowlitz County and Camas police on Monday on two counts of felony assault.

Jory K. Swanson, 19, allegedly hit two people from behind with a bottle July 22 at a rave in the woods off Frederickson Road, about 10 miles east of Woodland.

One victim was left with a fractured skull and the other with permanent hearing loss, according to a police news bulletin.

Swanson is being held for suspicion of first-degree assault and second-degree assault with a bail of $100,000.
