Letter: First, fix what's broken
Wednesday, August 8, 2012
If I owned a home that needed painting, had a leaky roof, and a crumbling foundation, it would not make sense to put on a new patio addition. We currently have a wonderful riverfront trail that is not being maintained, with an entire section missing. An Aug. 3 story reported "$750,000 grant to aid waterfront project." Does it make sense to add on to the trail before the necessary funds to maintain and repair what we have are obtained?
