Hazel Dell — On July 30 "Garden Time TV" taped a segment about the Boys & Girls Club summer garden session at the Hazel Dell School and Community Garden. In the segment, children matched seeds with fresh vegetables they harvested. The summer program is organized by the school's garden coordinators, WSU Master Gardeners Barbara Nordstrom and Bobbi Bellomy, and WSU 4-H youth development and food sense coordinator Jodee Nickel. The show will air at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 11 on KOIN-TV 6. After Aug. 11, the segment will be available online at http://www.gardentime.tv.
