BOURBONNAIS, Ill. (AP) — The Chicago Bears have signed linebackers Xavier Adibi and K.C. Asiodu.
Adibi has appeared in 38 games with eight starts over four seasons with the Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings. He has 55 tackles (41 solo) and two forced fumbles.
Asiodu has appeared in 11 contests over two seasons with the St. Louis Rams (2009) and New Orleans Saints (2010). He spent part of the 2011 preseason with the Green Bay Packers but was released before the regular season.
The Bears also announced Saturday that they placed former defensive end Alex Brown on the reserve/retired list after he signed with them earlier in the week to retire as a Chicago player. They signed rookie defensive end Aston Whiteside and waived DT Ronnie Cameron and CB Jeremy Ware.
