Ernie is a male 1.5-year-old border collie and cattle dog mix. He’s a little shy and sensitive to loud noises and would do best in a home with children older than age 10. Mooa is a male 10-year-old domestic shorthair red tabby. His family had to move and couldn’t take him. He will need a slow introduction to any other cats in his new home as he’s never lived with other cats. He would benefit from getting a chance to meet any kids in the family before being adopted.
These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver.
