Rose Village — A healthy crowd of approximately 350 turned out July 21 at Washington Elementary School for the latest Compassion Vancouver, a daylong free health clinic sponsored by local churches, service agencies and businesses. General medical services, eye care, foot care and screenings of all sorts were provided by volunteering professionals — but some seeking dental care had to be turned away for lack of volunteers. Dental professionals of all stripes will be welcome additions to the volunteer pool for the next event, organizers said. That’s set for Sept. 22 at Mill Plain Elementary.
