BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Three months into Vince Young’s third chance to prove himself in what’s been an up-and-down NFL career, the Buffalo Bills quarterback isn’t yet satisfied with his performance or fully comfortable with the offense.

He says he feels “OK,” but still isn’t happy, adding it’s nothing that a little more playing time won’t fix.

Young will get his opportunity Friday, when the Bills travel to play Minnesota. That’s where Young will get his turn to run the second-team offense, after Tyler Thigpen had that role in Buffalo’s preseason-opening loss to Washington last week.

Young has much to prove because his spot in Buffalo is not a lock. He and Thigpen, the returning backup, are competing for the No. 2 job, with the loser expected to be cut.
