Free Sunday concert planned for veterans

Eleven artists are scheduled to perform Sunday in a free concert for veterans in Esther Short Park.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with performances by One of a Kind Drumline, Michelle Haagen, Ernesto Quilban and others. A free car exhibit is also planned.

The concert is being organized by the Clark County Veterans Court Board. It is sponsored by Elite Care, Ryonet, Vancouver Sign Group, Ameriprise Financial, Waste Connections, The Al Angelo Co., US Digital and the law firm Marsh, Higgins Beaty & Hatch.

Food vendors are Goldies BBQ, Cakes by Design, Kilauea Shave Ice and Jett Burger Café.
