GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Coming off Florida’s worst season in nearly 25 years, several of coach Will Muschamp’s assistant coaches got rewarded.

Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn signed a one-year extension that included an $80,000 bonus. His deal also includes another $80,000 retention bonus if he remains with the team on Jan. 31, 2014.

Linebackers coach/special teams coordinator D.J. Durkin got a two-year extension and a $75,000 raise. Running backs coach Brian White signed a one-year extension and a $50,000 raise.

Defensive line coach Bryant Young’s contract, which expires after this season, was not extended. Tight ends coach Derek Lewis and defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson signed one-year extensions, but did not get raises.

The 23rd-ranked Gators were 7-6 in 2011, avoiding the program’s first losing season since 1979.
