ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Rangers starting pitcher Yu Darvish has experienced some tightness in his right quadriceps during a bullpen session Tuesday.
Rangers manager Ron Washington said after Texas’ 5-3 loss to the Orioles the right-hander will be reevaluated Wednesday but is expected to make his next scheduled start Thursday against the Twins in Arlington.
“It’s no issue,” Washington said. “He got some treatment right afterward. We’ll just have to wait until (Wednesday) and see how he comes through it.”
