Letter: Bridge designers ignored advice

The Columbian

If at first you don’t succeed, fix the blame fast.

The reprehensible antics of the local Columbia River Crossing “leaders” are excellent examples of attempts to blame others for their inadequacies.

It is well-documented that the minimum clearance on the height of the new bridge was openly stated long ago by the Coast Guard, and the hubristic “locals” ignored same and proceeded merrily on their way.
