BERN, Switzerland (AP) — The Swiss ski federation says Beat Feuz will return from an offseason training camp in Argentina after aggravating a knee injury.

Swiss Ski says the 25-year-old Feuz will be treated in Switzerland after falling in giant slalom training at Ushuaia.

Feuz had surgery on his left knee days after finishing second in the World Cup overall standings last season. He led in the final week of races but was edged for the title by Marcel Hirscher of Austria.

Feuz had wanted to open the season as the Swiss team’s main challenger for Hirscher’s title after the retirement of four-time World Cup downhill champion Didier Cuche.
