Letter: Show respect for campaign signs

The Columbian
Published: August 26, 2012, 5:00pm

Political signs are an important part of any campaign, especially in Clark County.

We love our yard signs and our large signs along the highways. Time and money go into designing and implementing signs, which advertise our candidates’ names in our community. Vandalizing campaign signs is a felony. We, as the Democratic and Republican Party chairwomen, do not condone vandalizing signs. Please leave all political signs intact.

If you see signs down from either party, please call 360-254-9116 for the Democrats’ office or 360-695-1609 for the Republicans’ office. These signs are the personal property of the political candidates. Please show respect for the property of others, and let’s be positive in our actions.
