The Clark College soccer teams concluded a preseason tournament Wednesday on a winning note at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. The Penguin men beat Treasure Valley 3-0 and the Clark women defeated Yakima Valley 3-1 at the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges Friendlies.
The teams play their first home games of the season on Saturday, when Bellevue visits Vancouver. The women’s match begins at 1 p.m. and the men play at 3 p.m. at the Clark College soccer field.
Borce Atanasov, Jerson Megi and Alicides Thomas scored for the Penguin men and Jonathan Morales was in goal for the shutout.
LeeAnn Lauritzen scored two goals and Alexis Vizcaino added one for the victorious Penguin women.
