Letter: A "thank you" to many

I want to thank the hundreds of construction workers, contractors, and suppliers for the charity work they have been doing on Interstate 5 between Vancouver and Woodland over the past few years. I know it is charity because the Republicans and their TV channel (FAUX?) keep repeating there has not been one job created by the stimulus.

I also want to thank the GOP for pledging to rid America of affordable health care. That way, when the GOP and "dogmented" religious groups (those that are slightly demented but have dogma galore) deny women access to birth control, and unwanted births occurs, our over-population problem will be alleviated. (Without basic health care, many people die).

And I thank the muckrakers for distorting and twisting statements made by candidates, as we certainly do not wish to know the real policies and/or specifics thereof.

Finally, I wish to thank the major news networks for shielding us from the uncomfortable truths, i.e. climate change, poverty, pollution, etc., and by replacing it with fluff like Lindsay Lohan's probation status.
