Vancouver-based Northwest Pipe Co. said Monday Scott Montross will be promoted to president and CEO on Jan. 1, 2013, as part of a planned transition.
Montross joined Northwest Pipe in May 2011 as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
The company’s current president and CEO, Richard Roman, will assume the role of executive chairman of the company’s board of directors. Roman has been president and CEO since 2010 and a director of the company since 2003. William Tagmyer, who has been board chairman since 1986, will become chairman of the executive committee.
