What’s the story behind your homemade calendar?

The Columbian
Published: December 2, 2012, 4:00pm

It’s time to turn the page on another year. If you are the crafty type who creates a homemade photo calendar for family and friends — or just to hang on your own wall — we’d like to know what’s on the cover. Is it a favorite pet? A family portrait? Your car? Whatever photo makes the cut it must have some meaning in your life. The Columbian would like to share that photo and a bit about its significance to you in an upcoming issue.

Send your calendar’s cover photo in an email to stover.harger@columbian.com no later than Dec. 17. Put “2013 Calendar” in the subject line, include your name, city and phone number, and please answer the following questions: What, or who, is the photo of? What does it mean to you? Any other details you’d like to share about your homemade calendar or the particular image?

If you have any questions, contact Neighborhood News Coordinator Stover E. Harger III at stover.harger@columbian.com or 360-735-4530.
