ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills have placed defensive end Chris Kelsay on season-ending injured reserve because of a neck injury.

Kelsay, a 10-year veteran, missed three of the past four games after partially tearing a ligament in his neck in practice last month. After missing two games, he aggravated the injury in a 20-13 loss at Indianapolis two weeks ago.

The Bills on Wednesday also promoted cornerback T.J. Heath and offensive lineman Keith Williams from their practice squad.

Their offensive line is banged up with center Eric Wood (left knee) and right tackle Chris Hairston (right ankle) expected to miss Sunday’s home game against St. Louis. Buffalo’s also down at cornerback with starter Aaron Williams (right knee) and backup Leodis McKelvin (back) nursing injuries.
