UC Irvine blows out San Diego Christian 94-52

IRVINE, Calif. (AP) — Four players scored in double figures for UC Irvine with Adam Folker leading the way, scoring 14 points on 7-of-8 shooting and the Anteaters came away with a 94-52 blow-out victory over NAIA school San Diego Christian on Tuesday night.

UC Irvine (4-5) shot 54.1 percent from the field in the first half but were even better in the second, sinking 17 of 28 shots for a 60.7 percent mark.

The Anteaters led 49-22 at the break and didn’t let up in the second half, outscoring San Diego Christian 45-30 and holding the Hawks to 29.9 percent from the field.

Chris McNealy had 11 points and four rebounds and Travis Souza and Mike Best chipped in with 10 for UC Irvine. Will Davis II scored only six points but grabbed nine rebounds and recorded five blocked shots.

Only Andy Saharan scored in double figures for San Diego Christian (3-3) with 10 points.
