Boys basketball: Hockinson 49, Hudson’s Bay 37

Wyatt Yearout had 13 points and seven rebounds as Hockinson’s defensive pressure helped the Hawks build an early lead en route to their first win of the season.

Alan Haagen had six points and six steals for the Hawks (1-2), who built a double-digit lead early in the second quarter that was never really threatened.

Taylor Rennaker added 11 points and Logan Barbour had seven points and six rebounds. Christian Glidden led Bay (0-4) with 10 points.
