LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Derrious Gilmore scored 21 points and sank 6 of 10 from beyond the arc to lead Wyoming over Oklahoma Panhandle State 74-55 on Saturday.

Leonard Washington added 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Cowboys (10-0) while Larry Nance Jr. had 13 points and Luke Martinez scored 12.

Bill Lee paced the Aggies with 18 points and nine rebounds.

Wyoming struggled for 30 minutes against their Division II foe until putting together a 25-2 run. Washington started the spurt by tipping in his own miss to snap a 49-all tie, and moments later Nance added a highlight-reel putback by soaring to grab an offensive rebound and dunking it with two hands, all in one motion.

A follow-up basket by Panhandle State’s Kysahn Sands with 10:33 remaining tied the contest but only set the stage for the Cowboys’ big push at the end.
