Boys basketball: Kalama 85, King’s Way Christian 53

The Chinooks broke away from a close first half a sharp-shooting third quarter to top King’s Way in the Trico League game at Kalama.

Kalama led by just four at the half, but two quick 3-pointers to start the third quarter launched a 26-9 advantage.

Kalama’s Josh Wall led all scorers with 19 points.

Kienan Walter led King’s Way with 15 points, and Chris Crenshaw had 13.
