Girls basketball: Woodland 51, Ilwaco 33

The visiting Beavers outscored the Fishermen 22-12 after halftime to finish off the 1A Trico League contest.

Three players scored in double figures for Woodland (4-0, 3-0), led by 16 points from Jessica Flanagan.

Sidra Malik contributed 15 points, six steals, four assists and four rebounds. Madison Sorenson scored 10 oints and had six rebounds, five assists and five steals.

Woodland used 18 steals to distance itself from Ilwaco (3-2, 1-2), which got 11 points from Jasmine Coffin.
